The tenth event of the 2026 PDC European Tour proved to be a major success for Poland. Krzysztof Ratajski won the European Darts Open in Leverkusen after defeating Jermaine Wattimena 8-6 in the final, securing his third European Tour title. At the same time, Sebastian Bialecki produced the best European Tour run of his career by reaching the semi-finals.
One of the biggest highlights of the tournament from a Polish perspective was the all Polish semi final between Krzysztof Ratajski and Sebastian Bialecki. After a closely contested match, it was the more experienced Ratajski who came out on top, winning 7-5 in legs to book his place in the final.
In the final, Ratajski faced Jermaine Wattimena. The Dutchman took a 6-4 lead, but the experienced Pole responded by winning the final four legs in a row to complete an impressive comeback and lift the trophy with an 8-6 victory.

Two Polish players reached the semi finals in Leverkusen, with Krzysztof Ratajski ultimately claiming his third European Tour title. For Sebastian Bialecki, reaching the semi finals marked the best result of his European Tour career to date.
