Alexandra Palace has hosted the PDC World Darts Championship since 2008, and it has now been confirmed that this iconic venue will continue to stage the event until 2031.
Interest in the World Darts Championship has grown dramatically in recent years, with tickets selling out almost instantly. Alexandra Palace currently holds around three thousand spectators.
Beginning with the 2027 championship, the event will move into the Great Hall at Alexandra Palace. This is the larger of the venue’s main rooms, increasing capacity from three thousand to five thousand. As a result, an additional seventy thousand fans will be able to experience the excitement live at Ally Pally during the tournament.
