The biggest tournament of the year takes place between December 11th and January 3rd, and tickets for Alexandra Palace are set to go on sale soon.

This year’s World Championship gets underway on December 11th and runs through to January 3rd, with a short break over the Christmas period. One of the major changes this year is the move to a larger hall within Alexandra Palace. As a result, the PDC is expecting more than 180,000 tickets to be sold across the championship. Another change sees the afternoon session get underway at 12:30 (local time), while the evening session retains its usual 19:00 start.

The general ticket sale will take place between September 8th and September 14th. However, it is unlikely that many tickets will remain by then, with the vast majority expected to be snapped up when the PDC releases tickets to its members. This priority sale begins on September 1st at 12:00. To take part, however, you must have completed your membership by August 30th.

The biggest change this year is that fans will not purchase tickets directly. Instead, they will submit an application for the tickets they wish to buy. From there, it comes down to the luck of the draw, with a ballot system deciding who gets the opportunity to purchase tickets this year.

Ticket prices this year have been set so that tiered seating ranges from £55 to £95. If you would rather sit at a table, the cheapest tickets start at £75, while a floor seat for the final costs £110. For those looking for the full hospitality experience, prices range from £399 to £599, depending on which evening you wish to attend.
